About Me

Writer who is researching his genealogy. Originally from Harlingen, Texas, I now reside in Dallas, Texas. I have ancestors from Kenedy Texas, Floresville Texas, Georgetown Indiana, Tennessee, New Jersey, England, Spain and Mexico.

My immediate maternal and paternal family surnames include Ferguson, Cochran, Templeton, Longoria, Gonzalez, Guerrero, Rose, Bruster / Brewster, and Rosas.

The primary reason my search led me here is that I am also a descendant of the Yuchi Indians, most likely through my gr gr gr grandmother, Louisa S. Rose who was born around 1821 in Tennessee and married David Cochran in 1842 in Indiana. I've seen some familiar names here. If anyone else sees a connection, please contact me at . Thank you.
