Henrietta A. Conyers, daughter of Daniel A. Conyers, and Eliza M., sister of Mary Conyers, born about 1856 in SC, is my Great Grandmother. Her daughter Arminthia Tuttle Owens was my Grandmother, Her Father James Tuttle. "Mittie" was raised by Watts Family in Grand Rapids, Fl. Believe her Mother died in her early childhood...and is buried in that area. Know anything about her family or Grave site?

GREAT INFORMATION. I APPRECIATE ALL THE HARD WORK ENTERED INTO THIS. I AM A GREAT GREAT GRANDSON OF CAPTAIN JOHN "JACK" DAVID AYERS OF CALHOUN COUNTY.

I am familiar with the Ayers Cemetery near the east bank of the Chipola River near Clarksville, Calhoun County, FL. Are you familiar with the Ayers buried there?

My family history surnames in Jackson, Calhoun, and Liberty Counties in Florida are: PEACOCK, PEARCE, PIERCE, TAYLOR, LORD, ANDERSON,. ANDERSEN and AYERS. I am specifically interested in the lineage of Mary Elizabeth Pierce aka Pearce, born: 3 April 1949 in Barbour County, Alabama, died: 5 February 1931, Sink Creek, Jackson County, Florida. who was my paternal great grandmother. Her name is listed in the 1927 Cherokee Indian Dawes List. Family stories are that she did not ride the wagon to Marianna to buy supplies because the locals were "unkind to her" and "made comments that were rude" to her because of her Indian lineage. Her husband was James Kinson Peacock, born: 1845 Sandersville, Washington County, Georgia, died: 1932, Sink Creek, Jackson County, Florida. She was tall, broad shouldered, black hair, dark eyes, and had high cheekbones. I have photos of her and the description I have provided are accurate. I am interested in contact with anyone who has information or knowledge of the Indian connections in these family lines. My email is: [email protected]

I am very much interested In Native Americans, especially the tribes and nations who lived in middle and south Georgia and Northwestern Florida. My great grandfather married a Native American lady sometime around 1830. Her first name has been spelled two different ways. One is Pheribe Scott, the other is Farabee Scott. Alan Wesley Robinett lived in Buena VIsta, Georgia where my grandfather Andrew Jackson Robinett was born. If anyone has any ideas where to start, I would appreciate it.

I am trying to document my children's father's family connection to the Creek and Cherokee Indians of Northern Florida. James Holley of Westville, Holmes FL mother was Roza Belle Thomas and was one of 8 kids. Her mother was Dora Donahue daughter of FNU Donahue. Her mother's name is not known and she was supposed to be full blooded Creek Indian. They supposedly died and Dora Donahue was raised by Dr. Wade who was related to the family and lived next to the Thomas Family. Dora Donahue married James Thomas and pictures that I have reveal that he is of mixed blood. How do we prove this and can my kids get on the Indian Rolls? Also I have been told that there are benefits that they can receive from the federal government? Is this true and if so what are those benefits?
